Hello, I think our PLC went fine today, Those attending Judy Greer, Gordon Prince, Ann Combs, Kasey Jones, Joyce Kilby,Janet Young, as well as the two student teachers from Mrs. Grubbs class and myself. We talked about lack of computers for assistants and how their lack of time makes it hard for me to assist them. We talked about ZamZar from last week and introdude kidblog.org as a teacher student blog. Gordon suggested posting our tech tool inhanced lessons on a data base or a delicious page for easy access to share what we are doing in our class.

Attending PLC in Joyce Kilby's classroom: Joyce Kilby, Angie Roland, Judy Greer, Josh Church, Kasey Jones, Janet Young, and student teachers Tracy Taggard and Kayla Sink. Our session began with an explanation of expectation. Depending on the skills each individual has in technology, the end product is an expansion of their own capabilities. I demonstrated a simple smart board tool/trick, Josh added to this with a slightly different twist. I also introduced ZamZar which is a way to convert and save video files. Thanks to Melanie for showing me first. I later sent step-by-step directions to my group.
